Obamacare alternative plans

Obamacare plans, or plans sold through the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace will be available for enrollment beginning November 1st, 2016. The earliest effective date for the new plans will be Jan. 1, 2017.

Since the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) plans have to accept all applicants, regardless of health, they are too expensive for most people. Health insurance carriers will now have to accept people with serious health conditions like cancer, AIDS, heart problems, etc. that they used to be able to turn down for coverage.

If you make over about $46,000 per year for an individual or over about $94,000 for a family of four, you will not receive any premium subsidies from the government to help pay for an Obamacare plan.

Obamacare family premiums are over $1300 per month in many areas.

At DFW Direct Insurance, we have a wide array of health insurance plans that are desigend to not have to comply with the new Healthcare Reform Act plan requirements.

Since these "Obamacare alternative" health insurance plans will be able to still medically underwrite applicants, rates will be up to 60% less than the new Obamacare Marketplace plans!!!

Many families may save over $5,000 per year on their medical insurance premiums by selecting a non-conforming health plan from DFW Direct Insurance, and the tax penalty for not participating in the Obamacare plans for 2014 is under $500 in most cases.
